Simple. Us 30 something proggers lost our hearing at the Rush, Black
Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc concerts of the 70's. Now prog bands have to play
loud or we all cup our ears and yell WHAT? This of course makes us drop our
bottles of Geritol. Bending over to pick it up we tend to whack our
neighbors with our canes. Said neighbor then slips on said Geritol and
lands butt first on the floor. This hinders other neighbors from taking the
concert seriously. And as we all know, pretentious prog bands get very
upset if we don't take them seriously.
